7th~ La Conner Soundrowers Open Water Race is being hosted by the Sound Rowers Open Water Rowing & Paddling Club. 28th~ La Conner Rotary Club 43rd Annual Smelt Derby has a day filled with fun family events. Pancake breakfast to benefit the La Conner High School Senior Class begins at 800 am at Maple Hall. The 5k-10k Smelt Run/Walk sponsored by Skagit Symphony begins at the La Conner Middle School registration is at 8:30am Day ends at maple hall witht eh Smelt Fest Dinner (no smelt just good food!) from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
